Licensing Status All appl 1 cable coments were incorporated into the fuel loading and low power esting license.
' Draft of the final SSER 'to. 4 input on shift manning was received from LQ3.
All applicable canments were given to AD for Licensing for review.
Final comments on the adaendum to the FES and Environmental Protection Plan l
were obtained.
l Review of full power issues continues. A memo to ads was issued by R. L. Tedesco on Septenber 10, 1930, giving a schedule and known reviewers for each reviou area.
In addition to those review areas, review of ATWS emergency operating procedures t
is continuing together with other selected procedures under Item I.C.3 (PTR3).
l The procedures for augmented low power testing (I.G.I.) are under review by Mr. W. Long (PTRS) on a schedule canpatible with running the tests. Procedure approval by PRT3 uill be ccapleted the week of October 27 and evaluation of test results will be completed the week of lJovember 17. Since review of this item is necessarily much later than most branch input dates (week of September 22), it will be carried as an open item in SSER ?!o. 5.

s D. G. Eisenhut 2-l In a telephone call on September 9, the applicant said it is preparing for the emergnecy plan drill with FEMA in the first week of November 1980. APCo is working on agreements with the state of Alabama and the state of Georgia for early warning equipment. Staff advised that a clarification letter on the emergency operations facility is in preparation.
A meeting has been arranged for September 18 to discuss: overcurrent protection of cable penetrations through containment; alternate shutdown panel; containment purge requirements; leakage tests for RCS boundary valves; and reactor coolant system vents.
A trip has been arranged for September 22, 23 to audit environmental qualification records at Farley Plant.
