Pursuant to your request, I enclose the.following information:

1. The Bechtel cost estimate of $2 billion. Ac-cording to personnel at Consumer Powers, there is no direct documentation for the $2 billion figure. In attachment 1 of the enclosed Bechtel l co letter of May 21, 1976, the column entitled  !

% billion and when added to Consumer Powers costs l 9 gge' amounts to $1.67 billion which is the current
