Dear Mr. Hoffman:
The Commission.has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 43 to facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your applications dated Febraury 4, and March 6,1981.
1 The amendment authorizes a change in the Reactor Depressurization System set point values for the fire pump discharge pressure. This amendment also authorizes the use of Thermo-Luminescent Dosimeters (TLDs) as an al ternatt to film for environmental monitoring.
In addition, Technical Specification corrections and clarifications for the Emergency Power Sources, and Reactor Depressurization System Sections reflecting the "as-built" condition of the plant are also author.ized.
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclost?,
