APPROVAL 0F UTILIZATION OF ASME CODE CASES N-219 AND N-287; WNP 1/4 In your letter number G01-81-098 of April 7,1981, you indicated your intent to use Code Cases N-219 and N-287 in the WNP-l/4 Containment design and requested NRC agreement with this course of action. Code Case N-219 is dated January 8,1979,and is entitled, " Rules for Design of Peripheral Shear Reinforcing,Section III, Division 2".
Code Case N-287 is dated May 9,1980, and is entitled, " Rules for Design of Radial Shear Reinforcing,Section III, Division 2".
The flRC has reviewed this proposal and finds use of the cited code ' cases acceptable subject to its condition that use of the Code Cases be documented in the FSAR.
