ULNRC-381, August 28, 1980 The referenced letters advised you of a potential 50.55(e) situation regarding the installation of surface mounted plates.
We have completed our reinspection of all surface mounted plates.
All non-conforming plates have been documented on Non-Conformance Reports and Deficiency Reports and will be dispositioned in accordance with existing procedures.
Rather than perform an evaluation of those plates documented on Deficiency Reports to determine their acceptability as installed, we have chosen to rework these plates.
This rework will assure that all surface-mounted plates will be in conformance with the specifications and drawings.
This letter serves as our final report on this subject.
