50-328 In response to NUREG-0737 Item II.F.1, Additional Accident Monitoring Instru=entation, Part 1, Noble Gas Effluent Monitor, and Part 2, Sampling and Analysis of Plant Effluents, enclosed is TVA's design criteria for these syste=s at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.
The design described in the enclosure requires components which may be beyond the current state of the art. TVA is continuing to work on pro-curement of the required components and installation of the system in accordance with the schedule described in our letters to you dated December 19 and December 31, 1980. However, our ability to meet this schedule depends on the availability of the required components.
Interim measures for additional accident monitoring instrumentation were described in our response to NUREG-0578.
