Dear Mr. Grier:
In our final report on the above subject deficiency, it was stated we' anticipated completing the corrective actions by December 31, 1980.
Due to circumstances that have subsequently developed during the course of correcting the deficiency, it is now expected that completion of the corrective actions will be delayed until June 30, 1981.
The delay was caused by the additional evaluations and tests being per-formed by the vendor, in order to determine the cause of the loosening nut.
It is expected that the tests will be completed by late December. The manufacturer will then advise Bechtel of the cause of the loosening nut and the corrective action required.
Lpon receipt of this information from the manufacturer, the corrective actions will be implemented on the 4KV switch-gear at Limerick.
