Enclosed please find three applications from Nissho-Iwai Corporation for licenses to export special nuclear material to Japan for use in the JRR-2, JMTR, and JRR-4 Research Reactors.
Before taking action on these license applications, we would apprectate your views, in accordance with established procedures, as to whether the proposed exports meet the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 as amended by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
