Pursuant to the September 11, 1980, and December 11, 1980, orders of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board, the following are areas in which the State of Alabama specifically desire to participate:
1.
The general area of radioactive material waste discharges to the air, water, or land.
Specifically, procedures or laboratory results cited or i

Proposed operating procedures, uses, design, or equipment affecting the radiation safety of the plant.
Specifically in the application, Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 9,10,11,13,15,17,18, 20, and 21. Similar information is contained in Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6, and Appendices (and D of the Westinghouse Environmental Report).

The State will be interested in the comparative sections as cutlined in 1-4 above of the staff's environmental impact statement, plant safety analysis, and any proposed conditions when they are issued.
The State is not taking a position on any of these issues but does propose to participate in any testimony presented by the parties, if a hearing is conducted.
