Dear Mr. Ippolito:
In response to your September 24, 1980 letter, Carolina Power &
Light Company hereby commits to install the General Electric design package to provide a Class lE power supply to the Reactor Protection System at our Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
This package will be installed on each unit during its next refueling outage. All design infor-cation and proposed technical specifications will be provided to NRC by October 31, 1981.
