EbERGENCY CORE COOLING SYSTEM REDUNDANT LINE Consumers Power Company letter dated October 28, 1980 requested Technical Specifications changes to reflect the installation of a new redundant line which provides backup cooling water to the core spray recirculation heat exchanger in place of the existing fire hose. It has been determined that completion of this project shall be deferred until completion of the Proba-listic Risk Assessment, so that an integrated assessment of plant modifica-tions to address operator dose may be made.

Therefore, Consumers Power Company hereby withdraws its request for the Technical Specifications changes proposed by our letter dated October 28, 1980 and requests a refund of the fee paid for consideration of that request.
