Dear Sir Pursuant to Section 50.59 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations, Yankee Atemic Electric Company hereby proposes the following modification to Appendix A to the Technical Specifications.
PROPCSED CHA!:GE:
It is proposed that the attached revised pages replace those previously submitted in Reference 2).
In addition, the attached Appendix should be added to the report.
PIASCl* TCE CHA!;GE: The delayed neutron fraction listed in Table 7-8 of Reference 2) has been revired. The attached revision of Section 7.8 of Reference 2) demonstrates that the revised value has no impact on the conclusion reached, namely, that the reference cycle rod ejection analysis bounds that of the reload cycle.
The attached Section 8 is identical to that originally proposed in Reference 2) for Core XII operation with the exception of the peak linear heat rate. More restrictive values for this parameter are now being preposed in view of the results of the Core XII LOCA analysis attached to this letter as an Appendix to Reference 2.
The attached LOCA analysis completes the " Yankee liuclear Power Station Core XII Ferformance Analysis".
SAFETY CCI:SIDERATIO!IS: Based on the considerations in Proposed Change 1:o. 125 as modified by Supplement IJo. 1, it is concluded that Core XII operation within the proposed specifications will not endanger the health and safety of the public.
This proposed change has been reviewed by the I:uclear Safety Audit and Review Ccr.mittee.
