s Sir:

Reference No. 3 transmitted a revised page 509:2, for replacement in the Facility Hazard Sur:: mary Report (FHSR) for the Yankee Atomic Electric Plant at Rowe, Massachusetts.

The revised page incorporated surveillance requirement for portions of the Safety Injection System, reference No. 1.

l In our preparation of the revision, we inadventently used a draft page prepared for submittal to the AEC some years ago. The draft, however, was never formally submitted. We are including with this Supplement a new page 509:2, based on the current page dated 9/15/59, and revised to include the l

surveillance requirement for portions of the safety injection system.

1 We trust you will find this information satisfactory; however, should l

you desire additional information, feel free to contact us.

Respectfully submitted, YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY 44k k.

Then personally appeared before me, Donald E. Vandenburgh, who being duly sworn, did state that he is a Vice President of Yankee Atomic Electric Company, that he is duly authorized to file, execute and sign the foregoing request in the name and on the behalf of Yankee Atomic Electric Company, and that the statements therein are true to the best of his knowledge and belief.
