This refers to your request dated March 19, 1963, for AEC authorization ff" to make Proposed Change No. 33 in the Technical Specifications of Facility License No. DPR-3 pursuant tc the provisions of Section 50.59,

The Proposed Change would revise Precaution No. A.8. of
+E NORMAL PLANT OPERATING INSTRUCTION NO. 504N to allow the Reactor Servo
- ur Control System to be adjusted so that it is capable of decreasing core pg reactivity by automatic rod insertion throughout the entire range of hr= -
travel of the controlling rod group.

h'e have reviewed the Proposed Change and have found that it does not

present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the hazards summary report, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered. A copy of our related hazards analysis is enclosed.
