2 f1ARRATIVE REPORT Ceorgia Power Company Plant E. I. Ilatch Daxley, Georgia 31513 Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1980-112.

On July 23, 1980, with the mode switch in run while performing calibration of IIPCI Steam Line Delta P Flow Suitch 2E41-N004, the high side micro switch was found to be inoperative. Actuation should have been +190 inches 110 per Tech 2

9 Specs Limit, table 3.3.2-2. There were no effects upon public health and safety due to this event nor was safe plant operation affected.

This is a repetitive event as last reported on Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1980-097.

The cause of this event has been attributed to sub-component (micro-switch) failure.

The Darton Delta P Flow unit was replaced and the high and low micro-cwitch assembly was recalibrated and returned to service as per }lNP-2-5202.

No inherent problems were discovered dur~ing the generic review.

Unit I utilizes the scae type of flow units.
