CHARGING PUMP INDUCED VIBRATIONS AT ZION STATION We have completed our review of the action you have taken at Zion Station to correct piping vibrations caused by positive displacement charging pumps. We have concluded that the pulsation dampeners installed to reduce excessive pressure fluctuations have resulted in acceptable performance.
A copy of our Safety Evaluation Report is enclosed. We consider this matter resolved.
