Dear Mr. Denton:
The North Anna Power Station Procedure to measure the flow rates from the service water pump house drain system (1-PT-75.6.2) has been changed. This letter serves as notification pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board Decision, ALAB-578.
The change to the periodic test was to total the flow of all six drains and recc-d this total flow rate. The acceptance criteria was also changed to include a reference value of 8.5 gpm as the Technical Specification limit of three times the averaged annual flow rate. If the flow rate ever exceeds 6.0 gpm, an engineering evaluation will be performed.
Very truly yours, 6;p B. R. Sylvia
