APPLICATION AMENDMENT S-24, EXEMPTION FROM AUDITING NRC LICENSED VENDORS With reference to activities authorized by SNM-1097 at the General Electric fuel f abrication plant in Wilmington, N. C.,
GE hereby requests authorization to exclude the review and audit required by 10 CFR 70.57(b)(3) of vendors performing material control and accounting measurement services, for the case of NRC licensed vendors who are subj ect to the provisions of 10 CFR 70.57(.b).
Details related to this request are contained in the attachment to this letter.
General Electric requests that the attachment to this letter be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d),
since it contains information that identifies General Electric procedures for safeguarding licensed special nuclear material.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 170.31, enclosed is a General Electric check for $150 for processing this amendment request.
