Station Visit to Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station by Members of Auxiliary Feedwater Reliability Evaluation Team By a letter dated March 10, 1981, to all pending operating license applicants of nuclear steam supply systems designed by Westinghouse and Combustion Engineering, we requested information related to the auxiliary feedwater system for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2.
The request included a requirement for a reliability evaluation of the auxiliary feedwater system, to which you responded in F5,AR Amendment 14, dated January 30, 1981, Section TMI: Item II.E.1.
We require an on-site inspection of the auxiliary feedwater system and its supporting equipment and housing in performance of the staff's review of TMI Item II.E.1.1.
The members of the team visiting the Comanche Peak station for this purpose will be Messrs. O. Parr and E. Sylvester of the Auxiliary Systems Branch, and our consultant Mr. B. Boscoe of Sandia Laboratories.
We have tentatively agreed with your staff to visit the station on May 6,1981.
This letter confirms attendees and the date of the visit.
