I have before me an account of the situation at the McGu re uclear plant near Charlotte. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a few people could impede the progress of the nation as these people and others like them are doing.
I am absolutely in f avor of any legal way that the situation can be either completely eliminated or slowed down short of violence.
It just occurred to me that these same people will be the first to be on the s treet in protest of shortage of power when that situation occurs, which it could very well happen.
Would it not be nice if they could come up and tell the authorities how to solve the problem with a more efficient and cheaper method of procedure?
It occurs to me that possibly the Commission, the Congress and all the people involved in promoting energy in this country, could make more capital out of the f act that there is absolutely no safe energy. 'Ihe oil rigs burn in the off-shore drilling, the coal mines cave in, and a host of other prob-lems arise in any type of Nuclear operation.
