Dear Mr. Hoffmar:
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 42 to Facility Operating License t!o. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Plant. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated May 11, 1978.
The amendment incorporates in the Technical Specifications surveillance testing for additional d-c power sources used for the plant safety systems, clarifies existing emergeacy power supply Limiting Conditions of Operation, and modi-fies existing surveillance requirements for the diesel fire pump batteries.
Copies of our ralated Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
