Public Service Company of Colorado (PSC) intends to utilize new fuel shipping packages (Podel FSV-3) to transport special nuclear material from the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station operated under Facility Operating Li-cense No. DPR-34.
These shipping packages are licensed by General Atomic Coepany under Certificate of Cocpliance No. 6347, Revision 2, and bear identification No. USA /6347/AF.
Public Service Company is in possession of a copy of the Certificate of Com-pliance No. 6347, Revision 2, dated February 3,1981, and all documents and their attachnents referenced therein.
Public Service Company is applying its approved Appendix B, Part 50, Quality Assurance Program to the applicable packaging requirements for a user, as permitted in 10CFR71.51(d). The Quality Assurance Program was approved by Nuclear Regulatory Commission letter, Docket No. 50-267, dated December 2, 1975.
Public Service Company commits to comply with the terms and conditions of the subject certificate, as well as the applicable regulations which govern the use of this packaging.
In accordance with the general license provisions of 10CFR71.12(b), it is
