Dear Mr. Ippolito:
Summary This letter is to confirm information provided to Mr. Hannon and Mr. Van Vliet of your staff by telephone on March 17, 1981 regarding the Brunswick Unit No. 2 Technical Specifications change request concern-ing the revised reactor vessel reference level. Refer to our March 11, 1981 submittal, Serial No.: NO-81-447.
Confirmation Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) hereby confirms its commitmhntthatalllicensedoperatorswithintheOperationsUnitwill have received formal training in the reactor vessel reference level changes prior to completion of installation of this modification on Brunswick Unit No. 2.
This training will ensure that all on-shift licensed personnel are familiar with the new reference levels and with the differences from the previous values.
