Incorporation of a Lower Plenum Phase Separation Model in Yankee Rowe Large Break LOCA Methodology
Dear Sir:
Yankee Atomic Electric Company intends to utilize a lower plenum phase separation model in large break LOCA analysis for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Details of the proposed model are contained in YAEC-1231, Reference (2) above.
Enclosed are 20 copies of YAEC-1231 for your review and approval. We wish to use this model in forthcoming Core XV large break LOCA analysis scheduled for submittal to NRC by April, 1981. Due to the tight schedule associated with this date, we ask the staff to take action on the review of YAEC-1231 as soon as possible.
