SUBJECT:
INVESTIGATIVE PROGRAM RELATIVE TO THE ID EXCEEDIh THE LEID
.On October 21, 1930, representatives of the General Electric Coc.pany net with NRC Region II and HMSS personnel in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss General Electric's investigative results and planned actions relative to the 10 exceeding the LEID. The attendance list is attached as Attachment A to this summary. The meeting was held at the request of General Electric Corapany.
General Electric representatives presented and explained the scope and results of their investigation and studies relative to nuclear material control and accountability. They presented their corrective action plan with proposed target dates for completion.
General Electric personnel agreed to furnish interim milestone target dates for the planned corrective actions which will be outlined in their November 6, 1930 report to NRC.
