Appendix'A NOTICE OF VIOLATION foamonwealth Edison Company Docket No. 50-295 Based on the inspection conducted on August 1 - September 30,1980, it appears that certain of your-activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements an noted below. This item is a deficiency.
'rechnical Specification 4.G.8. A.2 requires that if one of the two hydrogen purge fan systems is' inoperable, the remaining system be demonstrated to be operable immediately and-daily thereafter.
Contrary to the above, on August 15, 1980, hydrogen purge fan 1RV021 was made inoperable and the required surveillance on hydrogen purge fan IRV020 was not performed. This event was reported by the licensee 4
in LER 50-295/80-07.
