This refers te the meeting held at our request at the Northeast Utilities Offices,
Berlin, Connecticut on September 11, 1980 relating to activities authorized by
NRC License Nos. OPR-21 and OPR-65. The subjects discussed and a list of attendees
at this meeting are included in the office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting
Report and the Performance Evaluation Report, which are enclosed with this
letter.
It is our view that this meeting was beneficial and imcroved mutual understanding
of your program and our inspection efforts. Also, we hope it provided you with
a better understanding of our inspection program and objectives.
In accordance with Section 2.790, of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter t.nd the enclosures
