Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. Everett of this office
on September 10-12, 1975 at the Yankee Ato=ic Nuclear Power Station of
activities authorized by SRC License Nos. DPR-3, SUC-754 and S:01-371 and
to the discussions of cur findings held by Mr. J. Everett with Messrs.
Autio, Jones and Billings of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined under DFR-3 during this inspection ar. described in the
Office of Inspection and Enforcement Inspection Report which is enclosed
with this letter. With respect to SUC-754 and S:05371 the inspectien
was an examination of the activities conducted under these licenses as
they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Corrsission's
rules and regulations and
t... conditions of your license.
Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective e::aminations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations
by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were
ebserved.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part
2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the
enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Docunent
Room.
If this report contains any information that you (or your cen-
tractor) believe to be proprietary, it is necessary that you make a
written application within 20 days to this office to eithhold such
information from public disclosure. Any such application must include a
full state =ent of the reasons on the basis of which it is claimed that
the information is proprietary, and should be prepared so that pro-
prietary information identified in the application is contained in a
separate part of the document.
If we do not hear from you in this
_ regard within the specified period, the report will be placed in the
Public Document Room.
