Dear Sir:
Pursuant to Section 50.59 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations Yankee Atomic Electric Company hereby proposes the following Amendment to the Facility License.
PROPOSED CHANGE: Reference is made to Appendix "A" Technical Specifications appended to the facility license. Enclosed find Technical Specifications rewritten into the Westinghouse Standard Technical Specification format dated October 1, 1975.
REASON FOR CHANGE: This Proposed Change is responsive to the nuclear Regulatory Commission's comments relative to the format and status of the present Technical Specifications. This Change also serves to cancel our Proposed Change No. 112, submitted January 3, 1974 covering the same subject.
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: This change is safety related and incorporates the results of our staff's discussion on all specifications. This change has been reviewed by the Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Committee.
SCHEDULE OF CHANGE:
It is requested that this Proposed Change become effective six months after official notification of Commission approval.
The change requires extensive procedure revision and personnel training.
Immediately following notification of approval by the Commission, the required revisions and training will commence.
In the interim period the present Technical Specifications shall govern the licensed activities of the plant.
As, plant procedures are revised and approved, they will be
