Thii refers to your re.tuest dated February 2,1965, for AEC authorization of Iroposed Change No. 61 in the Technical Specifications of Facility r
License No. DPR-3 purauant to the provisions of Section 50.59, 10 CFR 50.
The proposed change would authorize control of the pH of the main coolant in system water with up to 20 ppm of ammonia during reactor operation with more than 5 ppm boron present in the coolant water.
We have reviewed the proposed change and have found that it does not present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the hazards summary report, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered. A copy of our related hazards analysis is enclosed.
In view of the foregoing, Change No. 61 is hereby authorized as proposed, pursuant to Section 50.59, 10 CFR 50.
