NRC STAFF MOTION TO CORRECT THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE SPECIAL PREHEARING CONFERENCE HELD ON AUGUST 21, 1980 Pursuant to 10 CFR M 2.750(b), the NRC Staff (" Staff") hereby moves to correct the transcript of the Special Prehearing Conference held in Montgomery, Alabama on August 21, 1980.

In support hereof, the Staff states as follows:

'he Special Prehearing Conference in this proceeding was held in Montgomery, Alabama on August 21, 1980. An official trans-cript of the Special Prehearing Conference was prepared and certified as true and accurate by the firm of Alderson Reporting, 400 Virginia

Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20024. The official transcript of the Special Prehearing Conference consists of 190 pages.

2.

The Staff has reviewed the official transcript of the Special Prehearing Conference, and has identified a number of suggested correc-tions which the Staf f considers to be necessary in order to more accurately reflect the events which transpired at the Special Prehearing Conference.

Those suggested corrections are set forth in Appendix A which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.

10 CFR 5 2.750(b) provides as follows:

Transcript corrections:

Corrections of the official transcript may be made only in the manner provided by this paragraph. Corrections ordered or approved by the presiding officer shall be included in the record as an appendix, and when so incorpo-rated the Secretary shall make the necessary physical corrections in the official transcript so that it will incorporate the changes ordered....

b'HEREFORE, pursuant to 10 CFR 6 2.750(b), the Staf f hereby raoves for a correction of the official transcript of the Special Prehearing Conference as set forth in Appendix A attached hereto, which corrections shall be included in the record of the Special Prehearing Conference as an Appendix to the official transcript thereof.
