In response to your letter of August 7,1980, the followino statements are respectfully submitted with regard to the additional licensing docu-mentation requested by your office:
1.
A new SAR for the University of Florida Trainina Reactor, follow-ing the format of Reg. Guide 1.70, is in final stages of assembly.
The status of this document is summarized under Attachment 1 to this document.
2.
The following schedule for submittal to the NRC is as follows:
a.
SAR to the UFTR Safety Review Committee by October 6,1980 b.
Final review and comments by Safety Review Comnittee by Oct.
22, 1980 c.
Mailing of SAR package to the NRC by Oct. 31, 1980.
We regret the delay of several months in completing the submittal. Ne are, however, essentially finished and expect no difficulty in comolying with the above schedule. Please let me know if you reoutre further information.
