i OPERATIONS NARRATIVE August 1980 A scheduled power reduction was made on August 3,1980 to adjust the control rod pattern.

On August 4, 1980, an electrical storm caused a line fault on the 345 KV -

distribution system and subsequently caused a reactor scram and unit shutdown. During the startup, a leaky reactor feed pump seal extended the outage. The unit returned to normal power operation on August 6, 1980 and operated the remainder of August with no unscheduled or sched-uled power reductions.
