YANKEE-ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-29 YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION (YANKEE-ROWE)
AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No. 63 License No. OPR-3 1.
The Nuclear' Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:
A.
The filing by Yankee Atomic Electric Company (the licensee) dated April 10,1980, as revised by submittal dated June 16, 1980, complies with the stundards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; i
B.
The facility will operate in conformity with the filing, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Commission; C.
There is reasonable assurance (i) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public; and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Commission's regulations; D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satis fied.

Accordingly, Facility Operating License No. OPR-3 is hereby amended by adding a new Paragraph 2.C(5) to read as follows:
Paragraoh 2.C(5)
The licensee. shall fully implement and maintain in effect all provisions of the Commission-approved Safeguards Contingency Plan, including amendments and changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 50.54 The approved Contingency Plan consists of documents withheld from
-public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d) identified as Chapter 8 (revisions 4 and 5) of the " Modified Amended Security Plan for Yankee Atomic Electric Company" as revised April 10, 1980 and June 15, 1980, submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 73.40.
The Plan shall be fully imple-mented in accordance with 10 CFR 73.40(b), within 30 days of this approval by the Commission.
3.
This license amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.
