PETITION FOR HEARING CONCERNING ORDER FOR MODIFICATION OF LICENSE AND GRANT OF EXTENSIO11_OF EXEMPTION Pursuant to 10 CFR $ 2.204 and the Co= mission's notice and Order published at 46 Fed. Reg. 9306 and a on January 28, 1981. CAROLINA POWER
& LIGHT COMPANY ("CP&L") hereby requests a hearing concerning the terms of the Order for Modification of License and Grant of Extension of Exemption entered in the above dockets on January 13, 1981. The Commission has speci-fied two issues which may be considered at such a hearing. CP&L's request extends only to the second issue, which has been framed by the Commission in each Order as:
[W)hether (CP&L] should be required, as set forth in Section V of this Order, to complete the design and installation of plant modifications, if any, needed to assure that the facility conforms to the Acceptance Criteria contained in Appendix A to NUREG-0661.
Specifically, CP&L's request for hearing is directed to that portion of Section V of each Order which establishes completion dates of February 28, 8103030 gg
