Dear Dr. Holt:
This is in response to your letter dated January 27, 1981 in which you further clarified your prior F0IA request (80-578) regarding the Task Force on Interim Operation of Indian Point Nuclear Power Station.
During an initial telephone conversation which Mr. Stephen Isaacs of my staff it was the understanding of this office that you were primarily interested in reviewing documents which indicated the methodology, assumptions, data, procedures, etc. used by the Task Force in its study.
In a February 17, 1981 telephone conversation with Mr. Isaacs, you were informed that the Task Force report was based upon the three published documents listed below:
1.
Existing WASH 1400 report.
2.
The Consequence Model, described in detail in NUREG-0340.
3.
Appendix VI of the Reactor Safety Study.
In addition, you were informed that work specific to the Task Force is ccntained in the following:
1.
Four Risk Assessments in the Reactor Safety Study Methodology Applications Program (RSSMAP), soon to be published as NUREG CR-1659 (Sand 80-1897) Vols. 1-4.
2.
Back-up to the supplementary report on accident sequence analysis.
(No NUREG number has been assigned yet).
During a prior telerhone conversation with another NRC staff member, you were informed that a copy of each of the two unpublished documents would be sent to you as:suon>as they became available.
