In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59, we are enclosing forty (40) oopiee of a requested amendment' to license DPR-77 to change the technical specifica-tions of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 (Enclosure 1). Also enclosed are justifications to support the proposed changes (Enclosure 2). The enclosed changes consist of the deletion of channel-functional test requirements for the radiation monitoring system which do not apply to Sequoyah.

In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class II. The classification is based on the fact that this change is administrative in nature and has no safety significance. ' The remittance of $1200 is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
