In response to I&E Bulletin 80-13 "Cr ~ c"I ore Spray Spargers,"

a visual inspection of the Hatch Unit 2 core spray spargers and associated piping was completed during the current refueling outage.

Remote Urder-water television cameras were utilized for the examination and provided the required viewing in situ of.001 inch fine wire.

No cracking of the core spray spargers or the segment of piping between the inlet nozzle and the vessel shroud was identified.

Visual inspection of the Unit 1 core spray spargers and associated piping is scheduled for examination during the Winter 1981 refueling outage scheduled to begin in February.

A written report will be submitted within thirty (30) days after completion of examination per bulletin requirements.
