Pursuant to the Provisions of 10 CFR 50.54 (p), the changes described below have been made to the San Onofre Unit 1 Physical Security Plan.
We have reviewed these changes and I
conclude that they do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Plan.
The changes consist of (1) establishing a 90 day tamper alarm testing frequency for all tamper alarms not expressly exempted in the Plan, and (2) identifying selected pull box covers to be made fast, thereby, eliminating the alarm test requirements for these pull boxes. of this sletter entitled, " San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Security: Evaluation", documents l
