SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE CCTOBER, 1980 The unit operated at near 100% rated thermal power for this reporting period.

The Reactor scrammed on October 13, 1980 due to the loss of the "B" Reactor Protection system motor generator set.

On October 24, 1980, power was reduced for control rod pattern changes and at the end of the reporting period, the unit is operating at approximately 840 Mde.

The maximum dependable capacity net MWe was increased from 800 MWe to 810 MWe on October 26, 1980 based on a recent Authority evaluation of plant operation and performance.
