Dear Mr. Seyfrit:

U 7 South Texas Project Units 1&2 Docket Nos. Interim reports on this subject were submitted to your office on July 17, 1980 (ref. ST-HL-AE-496),

August 22, 1980 (ref. ST-HL-AE-514), and September 23,1980 (ref. ST-HL-AE-544).

In these interim reports, HL&P identified four (4) action items that were being undertaken in order to resolve this item and provided the status of each of these action items. Since the last interim report, HL&P has experienced delays in obtaining the documentation for installed bolts; however, efforts are con-tinuing to obtain the remainder of the CMTR's. The partial release on Stop Work + 22 is still in effect as described in previous interim re! >rts. The next mterim report will be submitted to your office by January 22, 1981.

If there are any questions concerning this item, please contact Mr. Michael E. Powell at (713) 676-8592.

Very tr- ours.
