licensees involved in Phase II of the SEP to discuss the review of 2
environmental qualification of electrical equipment. The meeting was a followup to our letters to the licensees dated December 23, 1977, on the same subject.

the presentation for NRC. Mr. Eisenhut discussed the background leading to the December 23, 1977 letter, the relationship of the review of the environmenta.1 qualification to the remainder of the SEP, the content of the subnittals to be made in response to our December 23 letter and F
the NRC plan of action for completing the review of the subject.
Mr. Eisenhut rephasized the following points:
1.
NRC has reviewed environmental qualification of electrical equipment at operating plants previously; at some plants more than once. The total SEP is expected to include NRC's final review of this topic for the eleven plants in the SEP.
2.
Since the December 23 letter was issued, the staff has performed a detailed search of docketed information and has accumulated s.s a considerable amount of information which had '.cen subnitted sg during previous reviews.
