In 1970, anendnents to the Corr..ission's regulations in 10 Crn 50 with rc, card to quality assurance requirc:acnts for the construction and opera-tion of nuclear power plants becane effective. Appendix D to 10 CFR 50 sets forth criteria for quality assurance programs.
In order that we may evaluate whether the quality assurance program that is used to govern activities such as operation, naintenance, repair, refueling, and plant modifications at Dresden Unit 1 r.ects the criteria of Appendix 3, please subnit a ' description of your quality assurance pro-pran within 90 days. The description should include the itens set forth in Section 50.34(b)(6)(ii) of 10 Cra 50 and should be filed as a supple-r.cnt to your Tinal Safety Analysis Ecport.
Three signed u d notarized copies and twenty-two additional copies of your submittui should be provided.
Documents already on file with us r.ay be incorporated by specific reference, if you desire.
