Dear Mr. Uright:
This is to inform you that Florida Power Corporation, St. Petersburg, Florida, has submitted an application for construction permits and operating licenses for two pressurized water nuclear reactors desig-nated as Crystal River Units 3 & 4 Nuclear Cencrating Plant. The proposed facilities will be located on the Corporation's site on the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles north of Tampa, and about 7-1/2 miles north-west of Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida.
The proposed reactors are each designed for initial operation at approximately 2452 megawatts thermal with a gross electrical output of approxinately 855 megawatts.
The applicant anticipates the two facilities will be completed and ready for coc=ercial service in April 1972 and in 1974 respectively.
