In Re: Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-302 This is in response to Mr. A. Schwencer's letter to us of July 11, 1973, and the Reauest for Additional Information enclosed therein.
Even though we feel that the information requested is quite substantial for this point in the licensing review, we are utilizing all our avail-able resources in the most timely manner possible to prepare fully responsive replies to the requests, in accordance with your suggested reply date of August 15, 1973. We certainly do not want to cause an extension in the overall schedule for.ompletion of your licensing review.
We intend to file a formal amendment to our Application for Licenses on August 15, 1973, which will contain updated FSAR pages which are fully responsive to the requests made in Mr. Schwencer'< letter of July 11, 1973.
In addition, the amendment will contain responses to question 4.19 of Mr. Schwencer's letter of April 3,1973, and questions 6.12 and 6.13 of Mr. Schwencer's letter of April 27, 1973.
We hope that this will enable your staff to proceed on its licensing review schedule. Please contact us if you require any discussion or clarification of the above information.
