In re: Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 5f'-302
Dear Mr. DeYoung:
This is to respond to your letter of July 24, 1972, with the enclosure Request For Additional Information, Florida Power Corporation, Crystal River Unit 3, Docket No. 50-302.
We have assessed the time necessary for us to supply the required information and find that we cannot respond by the requested August 18, 1972 date. Due to the lengthy calculations required, involving also the model descriptions, we find that October 16, 1972, is the earliest date that we can reasonably supply the requested information.
However, as you noted in your letter of July 24, these items may have a potentially significant effect on continued construction. With this in mind, we request a meeting as soon as possible to discuss these items with you.
The object would be to gain mutual understanding of the problems and possible solutions at the earliest date in order to avoid any future events which might affect the successful construction and operation of Crystal River Unit 3.
