Welding Program Deficiencies A review of the welding deficiencies and documentation remains on this item.
LPC has indicated that the report will be available -
for RO's review by August L

This matter was an outstanding item on Oconee I and has been resolved for that unit. Since the program for vconee 2 is i
essentially identical to that used for Oconee 1, RO is not anticipating any difficulty in resolving this matter.

_ Baseline Data i
RO's review of the baseline data for Oconee 2 remains to be done.
The licensee has -indicated that the report will be available by September 1,'1973, for our review.
RO expects that_the Oconee 2 report will be similar to the ene l
reviewed for Geonee 1, and does not anticipate any difficulty in resolving this matter.

Licensee's Approval of Test Results RO's determination that the licensee has completed all testing, I-reviewed the test results and has approved all testing as being acceptable remains to be done.
t At the present time,' the results of 48 test procedures, 99 instrument i
procedures and one periodic test procedure remain to be approved by the plant superintendent or responsible group head.
The tests have I
either been conducted and have been reviewed by the test coordinator or are scheduled to be run during hot functional testing.
The final review and acceptance is actively in progress and RO expects to find all tests accepted by September 14, 1973.

Reactor Coolant Pump Flow Determination 4

An unresolved item, 73-4/1, " Reactor Coolant Pump Flow," is currently _ being carried for Oconee 1.
Since Oconee 2 is sir *1ar in design, this same problem may occrr on Oconee 2.

Calibration of process and area monitoring system.

Verification of hood air flow in Unit 2 sampling room.

Minimization of halogen losses in outside sample delivery line.

RO's understanding is that these three items will be completed prior to the licensing date.

Operation's QA Plan RO's review of the QA plan for operations remains to be completed.
An audit of this item is scheduled-for the end of August.
A similar audit recently completed on Oconee 1 revealed many deficient items in ir.plementing the plan (R0 Inspection Report The licensee has initiated corrective No. 50-269/73-7).
