Docket No. 50-287 y
N.
Dear Mr. Giambusso:
On March 12, 1975, the annual inspection of oconee Unit 3 Reactor
' Building was completed, pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.1.4.
l The inspection was performed in accordance with approved test pro-l cedure PT/0/A/0150/16, Reactor Building Inspection Test.
l A visual examination was made of accessible interior and exterior surfaces of the containment structure and its components.
The following are discrepancies found during the inspection:
I 1.
Tendon grease seepage through construction joints was observed at three exterior locations on the Reactor Building.
The test pro-cedure was revised to require inspection of these areas on an annual basis.
2.
Several tendon grease caps were found to have grease leakage around caps and filler plugs.
Each was repaired by applying a sealant tape to the grease plug threads and retorquing the bolts.
l 3.
Surface cracks were found on the bottom surface of the Reactor Building base slab.
These cracks appear to be shrinkage cracks and have not shown any displacement. The test procedure was revised to require inspection of these areas on an annual basis.
i l
4.. Two mechanical penetrations were found to have stem packing leaks.
Each was repaired.
i
~
The interlock mechanism on the inner dcor of the personnel hatch 5.
was found to be bent. This did not prevent the interlock from operating properly. The interlock mechanism has been repaired.
