. Application for Renewal of Construction Permit I
Dear Mr. Ginobusso:
k'e hereby apply for an extension of time for the completion of Oconee Nuclear Station Unit 2 as covered by Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-34.
'Ihe original construction pemit called for completion of the facility by February 28, 1972.
This date was extended to Tcbruary 28, 1973 by your order dated March 1, 1972. As mentioned in our letter of January 25, 1972, delays.have been caused by late delivery of major reactor coolant l
components and: diversion of construction forces from Unit 2 to Unit 1 in solving problems occasioned by the lateness of that unit.
In addition l.
to these delays, modifications to the Unit.- 2 reactor vessel internals t
~have extended the anticipated construction completion date.
