General Atomic Company has been registered as a user of this package under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 671.12(b)or 49 CFR 5173.393a.
This approval constitutes authority to use this package for shipment of radio-active material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 5173.393a.
By letter dated October 7,1980, we requested that you submit a consolidated application for renewal of the certificate if you desired continued use of this pacLage design.
Your letter dated September 22, 1980 (received October 9, 1980) requested renewal for a two year period without the submittal of a consolidated application.
Please note that this certificate has been renewed until December 31, 1981.
Unless we receive a complete, consolidated application 30 days prior to the expiration date of the certificate, we plan to issue a denial at that time.
